he Classical Conspiracy是Epica乐队第一个现场演唱会专辑。 现场演出也包括40个管弦乐和30个唱诗班。经由 Nuclear Blast唱片公司 预定在2009年5月8日发行。
在2009年3月4日，epica宣布他们返回录音棚 在那里他们已经准备开始录制新的专辑。专辑将会在2009年9月或10月之间。 为了促进这次发行，10月10日他们将在 阿姆斯特丹(荷兰首都) 的Paradiso 演出。 这次新专辑是吉他手 Isaac Delahaye的第一次在乐队演奏。 在2009年4月 这次新专辑标题被揭露出是叫 "Design Your Universe"
